Digital Ad Specialist

The Digital Ad Specialist will work with the Fat Guy Media team to plan, execute, and measure digital advertising campaigns for a variety of client brands. The ideal candidate should have significant knowledge and hands-on experience executing paid campaigns across programmatic display, video and native platforms to increase awareness, reduce cost-per-lead and increase customer acquisition where applicable. Ideal candidates will be able to present a walkthrough on the lifecycle of a successful paid campaign.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and implementation of campaign strategy
  • Understands the client’s product(s)/services(s) and their marketing objectives
  • Establish and manage accounts across various ad networks
  • Research and select appropriate keywords
  • Write ad copy
  • Set up conversion, performance, and campaign targeting
  • Attend client and agency meetings to present deliverables, strategies, and tactics
  • Manage and report on budgets and campaign timelines to the accounts team
  • Monitor, track, and evaluate analytics, based on the client’s targets and baselines
  • Report results, optimizations, and opportunities
  • Create monthly client reports, verify data accuracy, provide analysis and keep clients updated on the status of their accounts
  • Optimize campaigns accordingly to maximize client investment

Required Software Expertise:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Ads (Display, Search, and Fundamentals Certification)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Bing Ads (Certification)
  • Meta (Facebook) Business Manager and Ads Manager
  • AdRoll or similar remarketing software
  • Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel

Recommended Skills, Experience, and Abilities

  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Communications or Marketing
  • 2-3 years of experience in a marketing agency or internal marketing department managing online ad campaigns
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading
  • Experience with managing and prioritizing multiple projects and clients
  • Interested in learning and researching a wide variety of topics and industries
  • Talent, drive, and ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Ability to develop own ideas, take initiative, and assume responsibility
  • Team player who is committed to their career, clients, and co-workers
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Social Media/SEO experience
  • Experience with HubSpot, and WordPress is a plus
